Appetite for Million Dollar Homes Returns To 2005 Levels
A quick look at million dollar home sales for the urban core reveals that buyers are definitely holding back in this category (surprise!). Whereas more than 200 homes changed owners in 2007, a mere 60 transactions have been recorded so far in 2008 – likely bringing sales in this category back to 2005 levels by the end of the year. As expected the West Hills dominate this category, with only a handful of million dollar homes selling in the Southeast and Northeast.
