Pearl Condos – New Construction Update
New construction condos are going to have to weather some pretty serious storms in the months ahead. Here’s a look at the current situation for the Pearl. Clearly, not all condos are created equal. Whereas both 937 and The Encore have been struggling to break through the 5% occupancy threshold ever since they started selling in August and January 2007 respectively, The Metropolitan as well as The Casey appear to be on track to 100% occupancy. At 50%, the Waterfront Pearl is somewhat of a mixed bag. Units with the best waterfront views were gone in no time, the challenge now rests on making a case for the view of the Pearl.
